Hey peeps! Yes, it’s been a week and half (or so) since my last post. I can blame it on nothing but myself and my new role as home school teacher. YUCK! My 2nd Grader is only in school one day a week, so the other four I am on point to make sure she’s getting her work done. To be honest, it’s not that bad… but… we have her in school for a reason. One of those reasons is… we didn’t want to home school. 🙂 Crazy times that I am not sure are going to get less crazy in the coming months. Also, did I say that teachers are truly saints? I must have…. right?

In other news, it’s been a bit over three weeks since my first full infusion. To be honest, I’ve been exceptionally tired and weak feeling for the last two weeks. I don’t know if it’s just a side effect from the infusion (Which is what I am hoping for…) or if that last exacerbation (Remember… this means that my disease was active) is going to have long term/permanent impact. The not knowing rather stinks, but I’ll probably know if it was just an infusion thing in the next week or two… if things improve.

I’ll admit to being a bit …. nervous is the wrong word… maybe “curious” is better… So, I’ll admit to being a bit curious about whether the way I’ve been feeling is going to be a new normal. I sure hope not. Fall is my favorite time of the year and I really enjoy being active with the onset of cooler weather. Not being able to do some hikes or even work out in the backyard without feeling exhausted would really suck. I realize that MANY people would wish to have the limited number of issues I experience, but still… sometimes it’s harder to be happy-go-lucky than others. <sigh>

My doctor has requested I sit through another MRI to make sure there has been no new “activity” since starting Ocrevus (My MS medication), so I’ll probably look to schedule that in late October or even November. We’ll see how things go with Covid, schooling or any other unforseen thing that would enable me to put that off until next year… without feeling guilty! 🙂 I know for sure I’ve mentioned how much I dislike MRIs. I know… I could probably use some cheese with all this whining.

That’ll be it for today. Hoping to spend some time in the sun later this afternoon to get my hyper dose of Vitamin D! My next post will be next week… not going to commit to a specific day as I dislike not meeting expectations! 🙂

Take care!
