Hey Y’all! Hope everyone is doing well! Spring finally feels like it’s here! For sure! The sore throat, sneezing, watery eyes and general feelings of “ick” let me know Summer is almost here. I like Spring, but the pollen and all the other stuff that sets off my allergies… I can just do without them! 🙂 Pretty soon I’ll be fussing about how hot it is… just wait.
Relatively quiet on my end… hence the sporadic nature of my posting. I guess that’s a good thing, but it could also be that… wait for it… I’m running out of things to say? No way! 🙂 It’s been a bit busy with work around the house and variety of other chores. I think it’s easier to blog when the weather is bad or I’m not feeling the best. It’s definitely easier to sit down in front of the computer on those days.
In recent posts I mentioned getting the “Shot” for Covid. It was my understanding that I had to wait two months from my last Ocrevus infusion prior to getting Shot Number One, but I was wrong. I reached out to my doctor last week to see if he wanted me to move forward with the immunizations, but he said he’d prefer we wait three months. So, guess my new target date is mid-May. I can tell you my wife is not a big fan of either me or her getting the shot, but my doctor was pretty compelling. She’s in great health and already had Covid, so perhaps getting the shot would be redundant? She already has anti-bodies… right? Yes… having a little fun with this as we can’t seem to get a straight answer on why Covid behaves so differently from all other viruses… or.. does it? 🙂
We have a big weekend coming up as my wife planned my 51st birthday party. It hasn’t raining in several weeks, but now that she planned a pool party for Saturday… there’s a 100% chance of rain all day. So, guess we’re moving things to Sunday. I’m sure we’ll take some photos… I’ll try to figure out how to post them to my blog. The last time I tried it was definitely a bit “cludgy”. I’ll be sure to give it a try though!
