Salutations! Still love that one from Charlotte’s Web! 🙂 Today is Thursday, November 19, and it’s a cold day in North Carolina. I really need to note that it’s cold for “North Carolina” as some of my friends/family up north might laugh a bit about temps in the 50’s being referred to as cold. It is what it is! I’ve been in the south long enough for 50’s to be considered cool… while my wife is already in her full winter jacket! Kinda silly!

Anyway… Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I hope everyone is going to be able to enjoy the day with family and friends! Lots of reports of different States throughout the US trying to limit the number of folks gathering for the Holiday, but hope it’s still a good time for all.

Another Covid update from my house… There were a few cases of Covid at my daughter’s school this week, so they’ve closed things down until after Thanksgiving. I really hope this isn’t an on-going trend. 🙁 With no other kids around to play with, it’s tough on her (and us)! Guess we’ll see how the next few weeks go!

“What’s the topic of the day?” you ask… well.. let me tell you! Again, one of my favorite topics… fatigue! I realize that several of my prior posts have already addressed this in some detail, but I’m writing about it again because… well… guess what?… this has been a tiresome week. 🙁

Fatigue is such a pain in the butt and, at the same time, it’s one of those things that people without MS seem to have a real hard time understanding. Am I able to push through most days? Absolutely! Does that mean I don’t feel like crap and wish to be doing nothing but laying down or sitting back in a recliner? Not at all. 🙁 It’s a real bummer and, while caffeine, vitamins and supplements help a bit, life is definitely a lot less fun when you’re tired all the time.

There’s an old saying… “Misery loves company”… and I hate to say it, but that’s very true. The topic of fatigue comes up all the time in the online MS discussion/support groups I’m a part of and it’s comforting to know that I’m not alone. “Comforting” is probably a good word because, although I don’t wish fatigue on anybody (Or any “thing” if you’re a paranormal nut like me.. LOL), it helps to know you’re not the only one experiencing something like this day to day. I wish I had a better way of expressing things… maybe I’ll come up with one in a future post?

Oh well, at least my fatigue this week has been pretty manageable. I’m going on a fishing trip Saturday with some buddies, so that’ll be fun! The good thing is, it’s a morning trip! I seem to get pretty tired in the early afternoons, so if that holds true… shouldn’t even notice it.

That’s it for today! I’ll probably post early next week so as not to get in the way of Thanksgiving fun. My middle son comes home from college next week, so the house will be full for a few months! Good times!

Take care!
